We believe handmade soap is more than just formulas and percentages. It carries the maker’s habits, quiet moments of waiting, and the lessons learned through every adjustment along the way.

Many soap makers know this feeling well: Recipes scattered across handwritten notes, screenshots, spreadsheets, or old chat messages. Details that felt unforgettable during the making process somehow disappear a few months later. Sometimes, a batch turns out beautifully — but later, you can no longer remember exactly what made it work.

That led us to ask: What if the process of making soap could be preserved more completely?

This platform began with a simple goal — to solve the real problems soap makers face every day. From recipe calculation and inventory management to batch records, curing notes, and recipe organization, we wanted to create a place where recipes, observations, and experiences would not slowly disappear over time.

But as we continued building, we realized something important: What matters most is not only the soap itself, but the experience behind each batch.

That is why we never wanted this platform to feel cold or overly technical.

More than efficiency alone, we care about:

• Whether a maker’s experience can be remembered and shared
• Whether the story behind each batch can be preserved
• Whether people can feel more connected to the products they use

This is also why we created the Soap Passport — a way to document each soap’s journey, from ingredients and production to curing and inspection, so every bar can carry its own story.

We also believe tools should never replace creators. Even with AI-powered features, we designed them to feel more like a Soap Butler — helping organize information, supporting reflection, and offering guidance, rather than giving a single “correct” answer.

Because handmade soap has never been about one fixed method. Every maker has their own habits, experiences, and creative rhythm.
